Lacking in confidence because confidence only comes from God. Fearing the world when I should be fearing the Lord. Putting my hope in becoming better for people, when it should be becoming better for God. Trusting what the people say, when I should be trusting what the Bible says. When seeing who I am; I look in the mirror, when I should be looking at my heart. When I should be looking up to God, I have my head down. Wondering if my life on earth could ever get better when I should be thinking where my eternity will be spent. Seeking acceptance when I should be seeking God. There is Hope!! God doesn’t give up on His children, no, He has mercy and grace on us, He is ever forgiving. We need to believe in Him, ask Him to come into our hearts, loving Him, and living for Him and only Him. And that is when these words will reverse :).
