Why do I look in the mirror and all I see is myself?! Me, me, me?! Why can’t I look in the mirror and see a godly woman. A woman who holds her head proud, looks at others with compassion, listens and speaks wisely, who doesn’t worry about what tomorrow holds, for she knows who holds tomorrow, one who is not only a hearer of the word but a doer of the word, a woman who does not store up treasure here on earth but up in heaven, who’s life doesn’t revolve around her but the one who created her, a woman who loves the Lord with all her heart, who loves people even when their in the wrong, who’s heart longs to save people, who never gives up hope, and always has grace, who’s always in check with her self, especially before correcting others, who wants that consuming fire of the Holy Spirit, who wants that relationship with our Lord and Savior. A woman with compassion and mercy. Lord I pray I can look in the mirror and see a proverbs 31 woman. ❤️🪞
Epilogue: The Wife of Noble Character
10 A wife of noble character who can find?    She is worth far more than rubies.
11Â Her husband has full confidence in her
  and lacks nothing of value.
12Â She brings him good, not harm,
    all the days of her life.
13 She selects wool and flax  Â
 and works with eager hands.
14Â She is like the merchant ships,Â
   bringing her food from afar.
15Â She gets up while it is still night;
    she provides food for her family   Â
and portions for her female servants.
16Â She considers a field and buys it;
    out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17Â She sets about her work vigorously;Â
   her arms are strong for her tasks.
18Â She sees that her trading is profitable,Â
   and her lamp does not go out at night.
19Â In her hand she holds the distaff
    and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
20Â She opens her arms to the poor
    and extends her hands to the needy.
21Â When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
    for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
22Â She makes coverings for her bed;
    she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is respected at the city gate,    where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them,    and supplies the merchants with sashes.
25Â She is clothed with strength and dignity;Â Â Â Â she can laugh at the days to come.
26Â She speaks with wisdom,Â
   and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27Â She watches over the affairs of her household
    and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28Â Her children arise and call her blessed;
    her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women do noble things,
    but you surpass them all.”
30Â Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;Â Â Â Â but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
31 Honor her for all that her hands have done,    and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
